Logo 1.png The Lee Hsien Loong Award for Innovations in the Normal Course (LHL AIN) is conferred on schools for commendable innovations and strong outcomes in the Normal Stream education. Our school was awarded the LHL AIN in 2012 and 2018.
Logo 11.jpg As the East Zone Centre of Excellence (COE) for Design Education since 2013, Ping Yi Secondary School is committed to promoting innovation and creativity in Design Education to the students and staff in the education fraternity.
Logo 5.png The Outstanding Development Award (ODA) for Character Development (CD) gives recognition to schools that have innovative, sustainable and exemplary approaches to character development. Our school was awarded the ODA for CD in 2010.
Logo 6.png The Outstanding Development Award (ODA) for National Education gives recognition to schools for their NE efforts to develop in our young the instinct for survival, national cohesion and confidence in our future. Our school was awarded the ODA for NE in 2010.
Logo 2.png The Best Practice Award (BPA Teaching and Learning) recognises the school for its effective teaching and learning practices and systems that have been leading to desirable educational outcomes. Our school was awarded the BPA Teaching and Learning in 2013.
 Logo 3.pngThe Best Practice Award (BPA Staff Well-Being and Development) recognises the school's effort in developing and supporting staff well-being through its work-life strategies that have been resulting in desirable educational outcomes. Our school was awarded the BPA Staff Well-Being and Development in 2013.  
Logo 9.jpg National Arts Education Award (NAEA) is conferred by National Arts Council (NAC) to affirm schools that provide outstanding arts practices and programmes to develop a holistic arts education. Our school was awarded the NAEA - Glow in 2013. 
 Logo 7.pngThe Outstanding Partners Award was given to the school in recognition of its excellent efforts and commitment in collaboration with its stakeholders such as parents, the alumni and the School Advisory Committee. Our school was awarded the merit award in 2004 and received the outstanding award in 2007. It was renewed in 2013. 
 school green awards.pngThe Vanda Miss Joaquim Award gives recognition to schools for their holistic approach to environmental management and continuous improvement. Our school achieved the top Vanda Miss Joaquim Award 2018 and 2019 from the Singapore Environment Council (SEC) for our green effort particularly in our Outreach Programme and Community Problem Solving (CmPS) effort in environment issues.

The niche standard provides organisations with a total approach to managing people and achieving high performance through its people systems. The school was awarded the People Developer Award in 2007 and the certification was renewed in 2010 and 2013.
